1. Introduction

Welcome to Cake by Mudrika. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website http://cakebymudrika.in/ (“Website”) and apply to all visitors and customers placing cake orders or submitting inquiries.

By accessing or using our website, submitting an inquiry, or confirming an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Website.

2. Definitions

  • Company / We / Us / Our refers to Cake by Mudrika, a home-based bakery located at Seventh Bliss Flats, Next to Shree Vishnudhara Gardens, Gota, Ahmedabad, Gujarat – 382481.
  • Customer / You / Your refers to any individual submitting an inquiry or placing an order.
  • Service refers to the Website and associated communication for cake orders and inquiries.

3. Order Confirmation & Payments

  • All orders require advance payment to confirm and reserve production slots.
  • Full payment must be made on or before delivery.
  • Orders with outstanding payment will not be delivered.
  • Once an advance is paid and the order is confirmed, cancellation is not allowed and no refund will be issued under any circumstances.

4. Product Images & Variations

  • Cake images shown on our website or shared digitally are for presentation purposes only.
  • Actual cake design, colour, texture, decorations or appearance may vary slightly, as every cake is handmade.
  • Such variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for refunds or replacement.

5. Transportation & Delivery Disclaimer

  • Once the cake is handed over at pickup location or delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer.
  • We are not liable for any damage occurring after handover, including during customer-arranged or third-party transport.
  • Customers are advised to inspect the cake at the time of delivery.

6. Storage & Handling

  • Cakes are perishable items. Maintaining appropriate temperature and handling after delivery is the responsibility of the customer.
  • We are not responsible for spoilage, melting, structural damage, or changes in texture or taste caused by improper storage or delay in consumption.

7. Cake Text / Typographical Errors

  • For cakes with custom messages, the customer must ensure correct spellings while placing order.
  • We are not responsible for typographical errors provided by the customer.

8. Allergens & Food Safety

Our products may contain common allergens including dairy, eggs, nuts, soy, gluten, chocolate, food colourings etc.
We do not guarantee allergen-free products. Customers with allergies should avoid consumption or enquire before ordering.
We are not liable for any allergic reactions.

9. Refund / Replacement Policy

  • No refunds or returns will be issued once an order is confirmed and payment is made.
  • Replacement may be considered only if the wrong cake variant or size is delivered due to our error, which shall be determined solely at our discretion.
  • Taste preference or aesthetic dissatisfaction is not grounds for a replacement or refund.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or inconvenience arising out of:

  • transportation or post-delivery damage,
  • design or colour differences,
  • improper storage or delayed consumption,
  • customer spelling errors,
  • allergic reactions.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of State of Gujarat, India. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat only.

12. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
